More exterior changes for our Kona GT

We are trying to make some changes to the car in preperation for Mustang Week and just wanted to show you what's going on.

I had a local shop do some flat black stripes similiar to the RTR car as well as a Carbon Fiber roof.
The roof is a 3m material that looks and feels like real carbon. It's not for everyone, but I thought with all the carbon we have on the car it would fit right in. Personally, I like it.

We also just added the BOSS front end, so we called up American Muscle and got the Roush side rocker splitters to match the splitter. I love it!:banana:

The stock wheels are on the car now because the 20" BOZE's are getting a face lift. I hope to have them done by next week.

Mustang Week is coming too fast and I have so much to do.

Anyway, here it is.

Painted Boss looks so much better than unpainted. If you have real carbon on the car why not wrap the roof in real carbon?

The vinyl 3M Carbon Fiber is easily removed. It looks real, feels real and if I get tired of it, I peel it off.

BMR springs and all Metco control arms, but the springs are giving it the stance

Your car looks really good! I'm sure the carbon fiber on the roof panel will set it apart from all the other 5.0's out there, nice work! The only bad thing is, your car makes me want to lower mine.

Yes, the headlights and fogs are tinted with tint from headlightarmor.com
I tinted the markers and tails with tinted clear.

Well the wheels are done and I think they look great. I removed the black lips to bring back the polished lip and painted the spokes Dark Shadow Grey. Ton of work, but worth it IMO.:banana:

It looks fantastic! I really like the painted rockers and bumper/diaper.

Im not sure if black tint would look as good as that grey/mirror tint, because of the wheel color you choose, but some tint is needed for sure.

If you are going with the carbon fiber theme, is there any chance you will be putting on a CF hood and CF trunk? I think it would look amazing with the whole top of the car, including the hood CF :rockon:

Car looked great yesterday Jay...glad was able to stop by and see the progress. Freakin thing looks sick....should post more closeups of the strips....they were awesome.
