LOL @ people taking MT's testing results as reality. Their test #'s are absurd, sometimes a GT500 runs mid 12's, sometimes it runs mid 11's, but somehow a Camaro or a Vette ALWAYS pull hero run #'s. The only thing anyone should be paying attention to from this test is how the cars do on the road and the their handling and braking potential. Holy shit @ the 47k price on the Mustang though, dear Lord. New Camaro's interior finally looks good IMO, 5th gens were horrendous.

Perhaps MT gets better times with GM products because GM doesn't severely under tire their vehicles. I still don't know what Ford was thinking with the GT500.

They were trying to duck the gas guzzler tax. Any other reason they give is BS.
