GENERAL INFO AND FAQ:

Are we sharing the track?
This is a PRIVATE track rental. It will only be Fords allowed to go down the 1320'

How many cars were there last year?
We didnt have one last year, the first one was this past May 29th, People really liked it and were asking about doing one in the fall so we decided to go ahead and have two in the same year :-D

We had 65 cars racing and around 80+ people who just showed up to watch. Heres a link to pics from MSC v1.0 - http://nitro.vapornet.net/MSC-2004/

Is it like a test and tune or are there classes?
Its basicly Test N Tune, with exception of a Bracket Race with cash prizes. In May the 1st place pay out was $250!!! He wasnt even the fastest car of the day...just a very consistent driver. He paid $30 to get in and race, had some fun, and left with a profit of $220  :D

About how many passes do you think we each would get?
As for amount of passes. We had a guy make 12 passes in the first hour...we also had a guy make about 26 passes in the afternoon alone!!! 40-50 passes are VERY possible if you really want to

If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask me on www.ChicagoSVT.com , www.SVTperformance.com , www.Corral.net , www.MidwestFords.org , or www.Stangnet.com My username is hj16 on all of those message boards. Or you can Email me at [email protected]

We plan on overseeing the track prep along with ANY racer who'd like to get their .02 in on the prep. We will have them prep it until you the racers are happy......within financial reason of course.

What will be the roll cage requirements for this event, ie. at what speed or e.t. will you get tossed if you do not have one?
