More than a few people have put on 305/35 /18's on stock wheels. I know they say you need a wider rim but I have seen them mounted on stock wheels and they look fine IMO

I've seen the 305/35/18's on the stock rim and they fit well. We're currently running the taller 305/45/18 on the stock rim and it fits real nice. It's not as wide as the 305/35/18 but definitely works. We ran a 10.75@132.?? a few weeks ago on them. M/T FTMFW!!

The Nittos 45s are over 28.5" tall and I would guess MTs are about the same which in my opinion from a looks stand point is too much sidewall. Everyone talks about flex in the sidewall but from my experience with radial drag radials you dont get much flex with either 45s or 35s.

Ive cut some mid 1.6s with the 35s (or around a 26.5" tire) MTs which dont have very much sidewall to flex.

So to answer your question prob the 305/45/18 is the biggest, but the 305/35/18 looks better to me.

I still wish for a 305/40/18 MT ET Street Radial which would look and hook great.

You would be surprised how much flex there is! The 305/45/18 was designed for a lightning and is tall for a GT500 but it's nothing a gear swap cant fix. Sometimes more sidewall equates to better 60' times. Again the side walls do flex....:coolman:
