MT ET Street II or R888?

I haven't seen a comparison on these 2 as of yet. I'm in the market for a set of 315's on a 17 inch. I have always had MTs, and would not have considered the R888 if there wasn't so much love for them in recent posts. I hardly ever take the car to the track, and live in sunny CA.
On a side note, what fronts are you fellas using on 275" rims? I typically get goodyears.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a set of mt dr's 275/40/17 (stock cobra size) and I am beyond happy! I hooked and never once have I spun them (cold). But I'm also looking at the r888's since I plan on getting 315's n 10.5's rims for street use.

So I hear. I love the Mickeys myself. It appears you cannot go wrong either way. Maybe I should just buy both and find out myself....
