Ok guys I am stuck between Magnaflow Magna Pacs or Flowmaster 40's for my new set up. I am running a Mac prochamber as well. I think that the Magnaflow would flow better then the Flowmaster, but I dont want it to sound like crap. What do you all think?

I had magnaflows on my old car. Quite at idle and cruising but open it up and they sounded aggresive.

can you buy those in 3" ?
Nope. But to me 3" exhaust is to big for our small motors even know were boosted. You might loose power unless you have like 650rwhp+
Does Flowmaster sell the Super 40 in 3''? Or is it only the Super 44?

I assume you had the original magnaflows? He is talking about magnapacks.. which in a 3" with a o/r midpipe would be god awfully loud and sound like poo, IMO.
I have delta flow 40 series 2 chamber flows on mine with a offroad H-pipe. Its custom made 3" and sounds like a old school 5.0. Mine is also cammed up though Crower stage 3 supercharger cams. Its loud but sounds GREAT. The ls1 guys are always eyeing it when I pull in a parking lot because of the aggressive sound. It sounds like a big block ford at wide open throttle
