I am looking to replace my Mufflers on my Cobra and want some suggestions. I will be looking for 3" mufflers. I am looking for something tame at idle and while cruising and does not matter at WOT. Lets see what you got.....

I've got dual magnaflow's and I'm happy with them. With the supercharger they were dumped before the axle, and it sounded good but was stupid loud. Could hear the car over a mile away when he was on it. Now with them run out the back and the turbo, it's really tame at idle. At 2,000 it starts to pick up and get noticeably louder.

I built my own aluminum mufflers from scratch. I love how they sound. Took me about 40 hours total to build them. They are built from .125" wall aluminum. They have a 3" V-band inlet and a 4" turn down outlet, they transistion from 3" to 4" inside a 4.5" muffler body. Each muffler has 450 port holes which I had to drill 3x each, I also honed the entire bore after porting the cores. I did it all by hand with a cordless drill and some hand tools. I coated them myself as well. Had a buddy weld them for me. They are 1800* black velvet Ceracoated inside and out, that was a little tricky. The muffler body's are packed with high temp ceramic padding and high temp ceramic wool. The hangers are quick disconnect and still isolated up top. The front and rear end caps as well as the hanger brackets were water jet cut from thick aluminum plate. Spent a lot of time on them but the end result was well worth it IMO.

Got any videos? I've yet to find a "good" sounding turbo modular.

I hate the way my car sounds with magnapacks.

No I dont, but they aren't the greatest sounding due to them being straight thru mufflers. And the valve inside makes it almost too quiet at times. But under wot they sound great and I have almost no power loss compared to my cutouts.

Spintech mufflers... Amazing sound! I have them on my Dodge Ram and I get compliments all the time. Had them on my mustang but with side exhaust it was too loud. If I wasn't worried about attracting the attention of the police might still have them.

Current set up kooks LT, kooks 3" x pipe with cats and Borla side exhaust sounds like an exotic car. Freakin amazing!
