Mustang GT4 rain laps at Laguna Seca

Local Shelby club had a black Friday "Turkey Bowl" track event at Laguna Seca. It rained the entire day. No matter - the Mustang on Michelin P2Ls was unflappable through wet corners, streams across the apex, and mud in T9. I ended up turning in a pair of 1:42.0 laps despite the usual T5-T6 wait for sound.

For those fellow geeks in the group, I've got two laps of VR footage (use a Google Cardboard) from a GoPro Fusion 360. There's also a more conventional timed lap from my AIM SmartyCam. Enjoy!

Just watched the VR on Occulus Go, looks great. Do you get to choose specs a GT4 or are they fixed?

The GT4 spec is mostly fixed. There's an endurance racing package -- air jacks and a larger fuel cell -- which I went for. It's a solid package right out of the box.

Wow, looks so fun. Sounds bad ass too. I didn’t know about noise restrictions at Laguna.
