The following is from autoblog --- anyone (fourcam???) know what mustang is going to debut???

Barrett-Jackson and Mustangs seem to go hand-in-hand, especially special edition Mustangs. We just told you about the one-off Roush BlackJack Mustang convertible that will be going across the block, and there was the pair of bitchin' OCC Eleanor GT500 E Mustangs that set Westworld rockin' in January, only to be topped by the pair of black Bosses a little while later. And who can forget the other Shelby specials that have brought outrageous amounts for the right to get car number one? The first GT500 went for $600,000 last year. The first Shelby GT matched it. In all fairness, those bids were more about giving to Carroll's charity than getting the car itself, as good as those 'Stangs might be.

And now we get word that Ford is going to do it again. It plans to debut a new Mustang special edition at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach this weekend. The only details we have right now are that the car will be limited to just 500 copies and that the rights to car number one will likely bring a huge number for the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation. We're guessing it will be a Shelby GT convertible, but wouldn't be surprised to see a Boss 302, Mach 1, Bullitt or even a GT350 roll across the stage on Saturday. Any predictions?

Painted Mirrors, Hood Pins, No Shelby Lettering, No Antenna, Racing style seats with belts & the Stripe kit that has no gaps between the body panels can only mean we are seeing a limited production car ..... as in an Cobra "R" Model from Ford Racing, hence the FR after the GT500.

Also, is it just me or do you guys not like the lower parts painted body color? To me the paint just does not seem to match the rest of the car and it makes the wheel wells looks even larger which makes the 18inch wheels look tiny!!
Also that car needs to be lowered still badly!

I am guessing this is our KR and the car that will be in NY at the auto show in a few weeks

If the GT500 was the size of the terminators it would be PERFECT. They're just so damn big. I really wouldnt even really care about the weight, just make them damn thing smaller. It would look so much more badass.

While I agree about the cheapness, the black plastic rear bumper, side skirts and front spoiler all give an appearance of a slight rake from front to rear on the car and now with everything painted, it looks like a sled. You lost that natural rake look. If I had designed the car, I would have removed the side skirts all together because they really make the car look very large and bloated from side view. The huge side mirrors do not help either.
I agree that if the GT500 was the same overall size as the Terminator, it would look perfect.
when I get one, I am removing the side mirrors and replacing them with these other ones I found and I am also going to try just removing the side skirts and leave nothing until I find a side skirt I like :-D
