I use this calculator (the bottom one). works good for me.

i get:
26" tire

• 4.10: 2337
• 4.30: 2451
• 4.56: 2599

28" tire

• 4.10: 2170
• 4.30: 2276
• 4.56: 2413

It has a .63 final drive BTW (not .063 ;-))

Next question. They don't make my ET street DR's in a 3xx 26" tire height and I want to keep my stance. What do I do?

They make a 28" though. But again I want to keep my stance.

Already done. I did it the right way too. I did it over the summer.

what gear did you want with a 26" tire? use that to figure out your rpm, and match the rpm with the corresponding gear for the 28" tire. The gear ratio and tire size do not change engine rpm exponentially, so picking the right gear is all you need to do.

That's what I've been doing. I'll do 4.56, if I use a 28" and I can retain my stance.

Thing that sucks, is they don't make a 26" drag radial in 3xx with a 26" height.

If I use a 26", I'll do 4.30's. It just sucks that FMS doesn't make them anymore and it seems everyone wants crazy money for FMS 4.30's.

For the record both of those gear/tire combos will give me a 125 trap speed at 7k.

i don't have gears yet (and my t56 isnt in smh), but ill be going 4.56. I am forced to go that high, because my first gear is so long in my t56. im shocked that the 4.30 set is more expensive actually.

****edit****** dont forget that i have the close ratio t56 magnum. I would have to go to 4.1 just to bring it back to a factory sized first gear
