turbo? yeah he should have won...but he may have been REALLY out of tune. Just bolt-ons and tune will put a RSX type-S in the 14.0 range.

really? being out of tune makes him a ricer?

I beat a camed 96 GT with my camed escort because the stang was way out of tune...guess that makes the stang a ricer.

Learn the definition of a ricer or never use the term again. it just makes you look like an idiot.

And going by your sig....you are a decent ricer yourself when you only brag about "spray" numbers.

^Damn, owned. Good kill to the OP, even though I agree that he must have veen having some troubles or he was in need of tuning for you to pull him that easily.

Are there CARB compliant turbo kits for the Integras? If so, he could have been running mild boost?

Problem w/ aftermarket turbos is boost leaks (and stock turbos) and octane sensitivity. Kinda makes them "high maintenance".

Guess I much prefer a fast car made faster than a slow car made fast.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan by any means of rice crap!!!! I can't stand them. However, I have raced two ricers with turbo that took be by 1.5 cars. One was a Honda with an aftermarket turbo with 18lbs of boost and a fully built B18 motor. The other was an IS300 with 20lbs of boost. I am just saying that with FI you just never know!!! However, I have a basic bolt on MACH 1 and got beat only by 1.5 cars......but you have to give a fast car its respect. What was weird though is that I started reeling them in after 110mph but I am not a fan of the high speed stuff. One day I will get pissed enough after getting beat by a ricer that I will bolt on a Procharger and be done with it. However, right know I am content with my N/A setup. I am going to challenge the Honda again after the Kooks LTs go in!

LT's wont make up for 2 cars, better powershift. Actually Ive ran a few hondas and I know that a B18with 18lbs of boost would kill most cobras from a roll. Im surprised your mach held its own.....

ricer = car with cheesy graphics and useless spoilers.

turbo honda = not ricer

that goes more then double for the 2 cars you just described

god I dont even OWN a Honda and this sites misuse(sp) annoys me.

WIKIPEDIA:
Ricer: a derogatory term for a person who tunes their car and/or computer in a flashy and pointless fashion. It is also often used as a derogatory term aimed at a vehicles and/or computer owner or operator that is under the delusion that their toy is outstanding/spectacular/special.

IF you have to 'rechallenge' A honda...hes not a ricer.

nice kill. THere are a lot of variable for the win though. It could be out of tune, or low boost. OR, it could be an RSX w/ a turbonator and one of the front mount intercooler look-a-like CAI. Anyway you cut it, you won. Good job.

oh an LAcop, I know the nonPI stangs were nothing much stock but, that makes me outrunning numerous PI stangs that much more entertaining hahahahaha. IMHO though.

You seem to fight to the death for the intergra R's in here. Give the guy a break he called him a ricer because the integra is an import. Your getting your panties in a buch real fast and then you insult him because he posts 400 hp on the bottle in his sig. What is your damn problem? This is a site for ford vehicles if you didn't know. There is going to be trash talk about brand x cars in here. Its expected. And just so you know wikepedia is not a good reference due to the fact that ANYONE can submit info into it regardless of credibility. Good kill to the OP. Some imports done right can be pretty quick. But to day the Cobra was victorious.

Seeing as a 98-03 Zetec Escort can pace a 98-03 v6 stang, then out handel it for less initial cost....you are crazy. I spent about $500 and ran a 14.9 LOL
