A buddy totaled his out that was identical to that, a virgin 49K car.. conservative driver, coming down an off ramp in the rain the car just came around. the idiot city where I live has to plant trees everywhere (we call them car dicers) to "look nice" and one of them basically cut the car in half, he was OK but the car was gone.

It was very rare, but some cars did indeed have a factory spoiler delete. I've seen a mineral grey car in person that was a factory spoiler delete.
As odd as it may seem, I believe it can be possible. I see 05-09 Gt's VERY rarely cruising the streets with a factory delete (non bullitt). It's kinda strange I pull up expecting it to be a v6 with a gt badge and dual exhaust. It turns out to be a legit GT. I'm not sure why Ford does this unless something happens during the build phase where they run out of spoilers and just continue on with the production?
Now taking a second look....the spoiler looks like it's there.

Like others have said it was a option. My cobra has factory spoiler delete window sticker doesn't mention it. Only document that said spoiler delete was the original purchase order. I was lucky original owner saved every piece of paper.

I gotta have it I don't think it will look so good with a Delete on my car.
