My cobra at mir this weekend for the GT500 vs Terminator event!

I finally got a chance to make it out to a big event such as the GT500 vs cobra event at MIR and let me tell you its really a blast! We left thursday night with 03cobrra's car and mine looking to really shatter our pervious best's. Sadly we couldnt figure out an issue with his car and he was unable to make any passes this weekend but im sure he'll straighten out in no time and retake his 6 speed & IRS record back easily. So to start the weekend off we got to meet some really great forum members who ive spoken to countless times but finally got to match faces with screen names. Thank you to all the guys we met/helped/got to hang with for a beer or two!

On to the Cobra... its an 03 that i bought stock a few months ago, took to the track and had some issues but it was running much better this weekend! Its a stock long block 2.9 whipple non crusher, 6 speed and IRS. She made 775rw on a mustang dyno on C85/22*/24psi!

I really had a great weekend! i was battling belt shredding issues and spinning issues earily friday which was worked out by sunday thank god. I didnt get to make my 9 second pass just yet but its coming!!! Thanks for looking and thank you to all the great guys we met this weekend!!

Are you dumping the clutch or letting off really fast? I'm curious because my truck does the same thing and i also cut 1.6's. Correction..i did cut.

I love how cobras looks so violent when there's an incab camera. I could watch videos like that all day long. Good driving OP!!! Also that tire/wheel combo is awesome

I'd also recommend a 2nd gear burnout, 1st doesn't always get enough heat in the tires.
