My hood wont close after my termi front bumper..wat can i do?

I got a 04 cobra front bumper on my 2000 Gt but now my hood wont close. Has anyone had this problem? Let me know what you guys have done to fix this problem. Thanks

The 03 Cobra bumper sits higher than the GT one. Guys have adjusted the stock hood, but IMO, your best bet would be to get a 03 Cobra hood. It will look good, as well as get rid of the underhood heat ALOT better.

adjust the latch itself up. You will have to most probably take out the rivets but it should be easy to do after that

thanks for the help! i will make the same Gt hood work for now..until i get enough money for a cobra one

The easiest way I found for the bumper to mount up right is to move where the top 2 pins go towards the engine another inch or so. Makes the top of the bumper move back and down slightly.
