I'm just about finished up with a little 306 project. Still needs a couple things like a breather/catch can setup, new water pump gasket (already blew out), and a cowl hood. I'll also be cleaning up the wiring a bit, and it still needs paint on the nose, but that'll come with the new hood. Just thought I'd share

I've always loved the Vortech look on the 5.0s. Looks great!
Thats what I ran in my 93. Now I have another 93 and I'm having trouble choosing a motor plan. I'm torn between running a 427 SB w/ spray to a 347 Vortech to a 347 turbo. We'll see. Maybe a 427 turbo! lol

the heads and intake are going to hurt your goal...prob more around the 360RW area...maybe....depending on boost...

a friend of mine has the EXACT same setup minus the spacer on 10 lbs and puts out 356RW/370TQ....we're trying to get the car to hover 390-400RW with the addition of methanol and some more timing in it and going with an o/R Hpipe as opposed to a dual catted Bassani...

it has 36lb injectors and a 255 lph in tank pump....

my 95 Cobra put out 476RW on 16 pounds with stock heads, a custom smaller blower cam, long tubes, a Systemax intake, and a super aggressive tune...I think those numbers may have been inflated a little by the tuner too...I remember taking it to the track and running an 11.9@124mph with a 2.2 60 ft...I'm thinking it was more around the 440-450 mark...

good luck on the build...i've done plenty of these and enjoy stock long block / power adder Cobras....one of the best and most fun DD cars around

Nice:thumbsup: My favorite Fox ('93 Cobra)............:burnout:

There was a vid.awhile back of a black turbo '93 Cobra on Youtube
or Streetfire, and the camera car was another Fox with a 306 that was
running pretty $hitty. They did some daytime roll racing on the highway.
I can't find it anymore.Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Subscribing:read: I want to keep updated on this project.
