I had a friend call and ask me if I'd help him work on a piece of his equipment, to get it ready for the busy summer season. I should have known what I was in for, when he started asking to borrow my buffer, lol. Anyway, I spent sunday afternoon buffing an '02 Case IH MX270. It had only been hand rubbed in times past with some cheap Turtle Wax rubbing compound, and the paint had startd to chalk really badly, and needed some attention. I buffed it, but didnt get a chance to finish the wax job. Will probably go out there this afternoon or tomorrow to get wrapped up. Here's a few pics: Before: After 2 stages of buffing with 3M's Super Ultra Rubbing Compound and their Perfect-It machine Polish: -Random, I know, but I'm an instant gratification type of guy, and I always enjoy helping others increase value in equipment that they use to fuel their passions.
