The best I could run was 11.50-11.51 on slicks in my gt 500. It has headers and exhaust, pulley, tune and 4.10's and cai? It has the stage 4 kit from evo and aluminum d/s and upper lca arms and adjustable panhard........ I just seen other gt500's on here and on stangsunleashed with less done to them running as good or better times...

Reaction times were .080,.065,.028,.014,.012,.008,.006
60' times were 1.65-1.71
Left the line at about 3500

Hmmm, seems a bit slow like you said compared to what others are running with less mods.
How much power are you making?

not sure what the deal is here, hp and tq is there, not much elevation either, 60's are decent, shift points are okay, were you sitting in the staging lanes with the engine running, were the runs back to back, you may want to check with evo and see at what temp. from the iat2 it is pulling timing, i believe the stock tune is at 100 deg. or something like that, my tuner had bumped mine up to like 130, if they didn't bump it up your car may have been pulling timing during the runs, i know mine was doing this stock as my mph was 112 bone stock then after i put on a tune from RWTD and jlt cai my mph was 123. might be something you might want to check into. i have a livewire on my car and will monitor my iat2 while at the track with it, actually i will all the time.

MPH is low too. What gears are you running? What rpm are you shifting at? and how are you shifting (no lift on the throttle, fast, slow)? Are you experienceing any troubles with anything in the car?

Can you get to a dynojet to get some numbers from one of those so we can have something to compare them to.

Thanks

595 rwhp and 597 rwtq on a dyno jet....4.10 gears..shifting at 5900......no power shifting, but shifting fast.....I took a couple of the other racers down there with cobras and they said i was shifting to fast and to slow it down a litle bit.....not short shifting but shifting to fast...does that make any sense? No other trouble with the car at all after I bought the 4000.oo tranny and put it in since warranty wouldnt cover it....

By the looks of your splits on your timeslips I would say your not shifting fast enough. Practice shifting it with your foot in it and you will be shocked at how much you pickup. your best MPH was almost 124 and that should be good enough to run in the tens. Practice practice practice!!!!!!

13lbs in the rear tires is way to low, when we went 10's we had 20lbs in the rear tires since the GT500 is so heavy. We tested every tire pressure combination and 20lbs worked the best.

We try 20 lbs at first and I didnt even post those runs .....With 20 lbs in them, thats when we ran some of the 180's-2.21 60'....almost as good as the stock tires...13 is what got the 1.67-1.70's 60'....We never got better than a 1.87 on 20 lbs...

13lbs might be hurting your trap speeds as well. If you have to run 13lbs to get a good launch chances are the track prep must suck real bad.

Lauch RPM needs to be in the 5000-5250rpm range (if track prep is good) which will result in 1.5X 60' times which will lower your ET and your shift points need to be raised a little 6200-6300.
