Still have to applaud that motor. I paid $420 for my 100k miles 04 5.3 100% complete off craigslist.

Whole top end is TEA Ported LS heads , turbo cam & maybe a FAST intake
Bottom end is stock but for arp rod bolts.
I think it's 05-07 5.3s came with LS2 rods which are pretty strong. Pre & post those years the rods are cheap & they don't hold power.
