Navigation Question

Anyone know if a 2010/11 Nav unit will work in a 07' with a shaker 500?

I've heard conflicting reports. Did the Navs change with the body style changeover?

I know an 08/09 Nav is suppose to work on a 07' but not older Mustang.

There are differences. 2007-2009 no steering wheel controls and the 2010+ has the microsoft sync techology. Im only speculating but Im guessing the wiring is different. If you are looking to swap out I wouldnt bother. I bought a Pioneer unit for half the cost of the factory one and its a ton nicer plus it came with HD radio and a backup camera.

With the 2011 unit having climate control and sync I'd think there would be a difference in wiring. I agree with smartasp, there are some great aftermarket units out there that look clean.
