Need advice from all of you my svt friends! Thanks in advance!

I just cant decide to fix my car with stock parts and cell the car and get an 03 cobra, or Fix it up with short block and put 345-360 whp with all bolt ons! 50% of my friends want me to get a cobra, but to me its fun because my brother in-law has a 10 second kb cobra but i see it as a mustang! 50% of my other friends are telling me to go built and rape 400-450 hp muscle cars! What do you think? what advice can you give me? I am so lost and going CRAZY :shrug:

This is a tough one.... coming from someone who had a cobra and knowing what great cars they are and how they make sick power for me it would be a no brainer. I do think having a 350+hp SVTF would be pretty cool though....would surprise many a Termi owner when you walk away from them. Tough decision you have to make there.op:

the focus is a much more sleeper car, and so the bigger the dissappointment on those who decide to take u on ....

personally i'd pay to see the look on that cobra owner's face when u spank him lol

Have you considered a v-8 rear drive swap??

You would still have a focus...but similar driving characteristics of the cobra. If i had the money i would love a v-8 focus. Not only that but you "could" put a termi. motor in it and assuming you can get traction you could have termi/focus bad a$$ beastie!!

2. Real small s/c pulley
3. 5.9 crank pulley
4. 3 inch exhaust and ORP
5. 3 inch wide powerpipe
6. Cobra heat exchanger
7. Syncronic BOV
8. Kenne bell Boost-A-Pump
9. DiabloSport Revolution flip chip... One 93 octane tune/ and a Race gas tune!

Can anybody else think of something that i missed?

I got a 2.55" Blower pulley and 5.7" OD pulley kickin' around if you are interested. You also might need larger injectors, I have some 50lb Siemens Dekka ones areound. Also, a LFP dual Pass heat exchanger.

Might want to look into the J&S Safeguard for keeping tabs on engine knock, and being able to retard it with their digital signal processor.

I can help you with the block if you would like to as well.

Inputs:
- Max RPM
- Crank Pulley Diameter
- Supercharger Diameter

I put in 7250 rpm, 5.7" Crank Pulley, 2.55" SC Pulley. Impeller speed = 55910 rpm.

The smallest 6-rib pulley that Vortech sells is a 2.62" diameter pulley.

A 2.193404" is what you would need to exactly max out the V-5 F-trim unit.

A pulley with a diameter of 2.193" would have to be custom made.

- 2.25" is the smallest, that would put you up at 63365 maximum rpm.

that is only a V-1 and V-2 supercharger. Mine is a V-5.. so its going to be different
