Need alt pulley???

Im running the 2.93 with a 4lb lower...so far no problems with my alt..just wanting to get some opinions on weither or not i should get a alt pulley??? What do you guys think??? Any comments are appreciated.. thanks guys :beer:

We have had a customer or two stranded with a burned up alternator with our 4# setup. Since then we have been recommending them for our 4#,6#,8# kits. For $39.00 why take the risk.

Most of the fellas running 4 lb lowers, do not switch to a bigger alternator pulley. That being said, Mark's advice makes good sense.....but may need to spend $35+ more bucks for a new belt to if you change alternator pulleys.

I think Metco offers two pulleys. One for up to 4 lbs and another from 6 and 8 lbs. Spendy little bastards though!!
