Hey everyone, i need help pickin out a good tire for my 99 cobra. I would like to run 295/35/r18s if i can. Its not my daily driver but i do drive it back and forth to the strip. And every now and then ill take it on the back roads. Im running 4:10 gears so i need somthing that will hook and not spin till i hit mid 3rd gear. Any help would be great.:beer:

305 35 18 r888 tires here. Full suspension, 3.55's, t56, 3150 lbs, nothing spins but half of first and only when I'm really agressive with the clutch and gas. In other words, I have to try and spin...

Thanks for all the advice. Will a 305/35/r18 work with the stock IRS bolt? Im only running a 9" rim. The r888 drag radials? Will they get me back and forth to the track safe running the speed limit?

I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 275 or 285 on a 9" wheel.

R888 is a good choice for you they will last longer than the hoosiers and if you get caught out in the rain you will be fine to keep driving.
