so, I accidentally grounded the negative battery terminal. now it won't start. checked the fuse and its good. alternator and battery are good. any ideas or input is greatly appreciated, thanks and happy thanksgiving.

Grounding the negative terminal shouldn't have damaged anything. It's the ground after all.

It'll turn but won't start when it's hooked up to my battery charger. And if not hooked up it won't turn at all. Just dead....
Try a new battery?
Do you mean you shorted the ground cable to the positive cable? While the positive was hooked to the battery?
