hey guys I was wondering if anyone has gone through this. I turn on my car on and leave it on neutral i press the gas pedal to like 2000 rpm and hold it there then like every 3 seconds the car chokes a little. When I am driving or actually when am going to take off, the car chokes alot but after 2000 rpm will be ok and it backfires every now and then. Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Thanks

Fuel pump? Filter? To make sure your fuel pump isn't going bad, take off your fuel filter(you'll need a new one to replace it), and use a hacksaw or something to cut it open. If there are metal particles in the filter, your fuel pump is most likely going bad.

There's also a test light for injectors you can buy. I'm just not sure where. You hold it up to the injector and the light will blink so you know that the injector is opening and shutting properly.
