Need help identifying C5

Today I came across a beautiful 50th ann. corvette. As i was sitting in a turn lane next to it, I noticed a very nice rumbly exhaust note which got my attention. As we turned, I saw the back and it said "Magnuson ______ 400 SS". The blank said another word that started with an "L" but I don't remember.

I know magnuson makes roots type blowers for different makes but what the hell did I see? Is it a dealer package or a special edition or what?

And no we didn't race....he wouldn't bite:-D

Are you sure it didn't say Mongoose? I saw a Mongoose 400 package on a 50th anniversary in Vette magazine. It's a package available by some speed shop. Nothing too exciting. I'll see if I can find the article.
