need help on notch..

I've been watching Notch coupes of various shapes/forms for about the lat 6 months.

I personally wouldn't go more than 5500 on that car.

7-8k will get you a lot badder/cleaner car than that. Wait it out.

Its not set in stone for a notch... just any reliable v8 car for under 7-8 that is decently quick and responds to mods well.

Not being the original color would turn me off right away. The work looks like it was backyard....just look at the plug wires. Maybe I'm anal, but I look over all the small details. There are much cleaner foxes out there....sometimes they pop up in the wierdest spots. It took me two years to finally get my uncle to sell me his with 37k miles on it and orig paint, motor, tranny ect. Shop around, do a carfax at least and take your time. You'll be happy you did.
