I hope it's ok to post this here. I'm a long time forum member who hasn't been on here in a couple years to post. I had to create another username just to be able to start posting until the mods hopefully figure it out. Anyway, I currently own a very well done, rotisserie restored 65 Mustang Fastback. I have an older gentleman wanting to trade me his 2013 GT500 that he ordered new, has never seen a drop of rain and is in collector condition with 6k original miles. The car is Deep Impact Blue/ white stripes with every single option except the glass roof. It even has the Shelby cover. My question is, what should I allow for this car if I want to just turn around and sell it and what kind of timeframe will I be looking at? We are in SC. I am very familiar with the fox body, terminator and 64-70 cars. Just don't follow the GT500's as closely. Thanks for the help!

Market is very soft on them, has been for a bit. Could the 2020's on the forefront, maybe the fact that the newer modded GT's make as much power and lay down 9 second passes at the strip, pick your poison. Just my 2 cents.

All I will say is I've been watching them closely for a few years now, and low mileage examples have dipped solidly into the mid 40's. Still plenty of sellers out there in the $52k range. Overall, I don't see much moving, regardless of where the price is at. Options seem to be irrelevant in terms of what is selling, everyone has their favorite.

If it where me selling, I'd stick $49,500 on it, but expect plenty of tire kickers. You may get lucky, but don't expect to get many offers over $45k. I know the guys that own them hate to hear it, but the market doesn't lie. Personally, I think the cars are real bargain for a mid 40 price tag, the 2011/12 even more so if you can get one for low 30's. Lot of car for the money.

Yep, shortened version of what I typed up when SVTXTC posted. He probably has a nice window sticker that has $64k or thereabouts on it.

Depending on Mileage and if it has any mods. But a low mileage 13/14 GT500 will be anywhere from 48 to 55k. DIB with white stripes is a great color combo.

Thanks for the reply’s guys! I called a couple of dealers who sell a lot of these cars. One is a dealer in Charlotte NC and another in TX. They both told me they move them at a pretty steady pace. I guess customers know them for selling really clean examples of the GT500’s. They both said they would price the car in the low 50’s and get high 40’s. Their offer to me was just under mid 40’s which isn’t far off from what you guys are saying. Dealers always seem to pull the extra couple thousand out of a car. Probably for financing reasons. I will throw up some pics and make an official for sale thread for anyone here who may want the car. I’ll try to get them this weekend. I want to make sure I follow the rules on here also about listing a vehicle. I’ve returned the PM’s I had and anyone can reach me at 843-708-1992. Thanks again

I’ve been tracking value on mine 13- it’s nowhere near show condition, daily driven, 68,000miles. But the original owner was an older friend who didn’t know or care it had sport buttons, averaged 14mpg, and had it meticulously serviced. Never modded, and I actually still have ford extended warranty until 2023 or 124,000 miles.
All that taken into account I think I could get 38,000 and maybe 40,000 since my local area is empty of gt500s.

I found it. Was it a password or email issue? I can fix either.

    I too think $45K - $47K is about right.

I was honestly shocked at the narrow range in price from a ragged out high mileage 500 vs a showcase with 2-5000 miles.

Thank you. The problem is I can’t remember my password and the email I use to have has probably been deleted. I tried the two current emails I have to recover my password and it says they aren’t valid

I was too. Also, there isn't really a difference in pricing with options. I don't understand why the ranges are that way.

Yeah a non PP non TP 500 even with the famed glass roof isn’t much of a diff in pricing. One thing I’m seeing and have heard a bit is the fact that these drivetrains are very reliable especially for what your getting. My rear diff pinion was the only thing I’ve warrantied and some window switches and other little things. I haven’t seen any stock trinitys grenade consistently.
