knowing what u have on the rear would help. Generally I believe a matching, or at least semi mathcing set works best. For example, if your are running BFG drag radials int eh rear, I would but BFG Geforces on the front, not Nittos on the front with BFG rears. But that is just me.
I have 275 40 17 Yoko AVS ES100's all around on 17x9 Cobra R's right now and for the price I payed ($110 a piece) they are amazing! There are other tires out there that are better, but none that can compete at such a low price point.
