Need some advice on making final decision on Gears Mt82 Tvs supercharger

Trying to make the final decision on what gears to get, car is a 14 5.0 with mt-82 and currently has 373 gears making 600rwhp. The car hooks fine with current suspension setup on the street but I don't want to bother with the track until I can stay in 4th. I will be running 27.4 drag radial and 28 inch drag radials and my limiter is set at 7200. I am thinking 3.15 or 3.27 ratio, any advice or track experience would be appreciated.

I went with 3.31 when I took out the 3.73. It's really nice on the street with the supercharger. Track results coming soon.

Bump your rev limiter up to 7500. You're probably going to want a 3.31 gear, from what I've seen others run.

3.27s will take you to 140mph in 4th gear with a 28" tire at ~7200 rpm.

My 1/4 mi goal is 140 mph and as such I chose the 3.27s.

3.31s wil take you to about 137 mph at same rpm.

Right now I am at the limit for injectors, that why my limiter in 7200. Don't want to go down that rabbit hole until I am ready to throw more boost at it with a set of IDs.

I think that is where I am leaning is 3.27, I can still add more power and be safe.

Are you sure your almost out of fuel?
I ran a 82mm pulley, JLT CAI, & long tubes without a BAP on 47lb injectors with plenty of fuel at 7500 rpm...

I know I was out of injector before the bap and didn't ask how much headroom there was afterwards, I just told him to make it safe.

With an mt82 and making over 600 you will want 3.31 gears with a 28" tall tire. Keep in mind slicks are 28" at the starting line but are more like 28.5-29" tall at 140mph

True except if using 10" wheel your 28" slicks are now 27".

Height is going to depend some on wheel width.
