Need some HELP!!!

Hey, Does any one know what weight flex plate I should use?

I am build a 5.0 engine and it has a 28oz harmonic balancer on the engine. Do I need to purchase a flex plate that is a 28 oz unbalanced model? I have a flex plate that came off a 91 5.0 aod mustang. I am just trying to figure out if I need to buy a 50 ounce or a 28 ounce flex plate for my AOD setup.

If the flex plate off the old engine will work? I'll go that route. But If not, I'll need to buy a new flex plate for the engine I am building. I already have a 28 oz harmonic balancer on the built engine. I just am not sure if I can take parts off the 91 engine and use them on my built setup.

Your gonna want to get a 28oz flexplate. Want to be balanced from front to back. So that 91 will not work out with that set up.

Yep, I just ran into similiar problems with my 347 swap. Its a 28oz balance so I had to replace my flywheel and damper as well..
