OK, So ill probably get flamed from the die hards but im thinking of going with the Varrstoen ES7 wheels. I know, I know... but i have other things to drop money on vs a set of 3K wheels. Anyways, I'm not too pumped about running a 9.5" wide wheel in the front (Dont really see the benefit) but that's what they offer and i know some of you are running that size, so please chime in.

What they offer is as follows:
  • ES7 18x10.5 ET15 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
  • ES7 18x10.5 ET25 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
  • ES7 18x10.5 ET35 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
  • ES7 18x9.5 ET12 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
  • ES7 18x9.5 ET22 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
  • ES7 18x9.5 ET35 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
Now, my current wheels are: (Saleens)
Front - 18x9 24mm Offset
Rears - 18x10.5 27mm Offset

With that said, I think the following will work, but would like confirmation
Front - ES7 18x9.5 ET22 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP
Rears - ES7 18x10.5 ET25 5x114.3 CB73.1 SILVER W/ MACHINED LIP

Also, both Varrstoen wheels are 2mm shy of what i have now.

  • Does this mean they will push our further or be tucked 2mm more? (Offset thing is not my cup of tea..)
  • Does the added .5" and 2mm diff in offest for the front pose a greater issue than just being 2mm off from my current setup?
Thanks for the help guys. If all goes well, I'm looking at placing the order today .
P.S. I have a SRA and not a IRS

The best thing you can do is to mesure the current distance from the fender to your tire.

Cause with your new wheel, in front it will be 8.35mm more to the outside and in the back 2mm more out. The front might be more critical, in the back you should have plenty of space.

For the front= 0.5" more rim/2 = 1/4" more out, converted to mm = 6.35mm + 2mm more offset.
