Look at the pictures in this thread.

I heard a very loud thump tonight while accelerating in second gear on the way to the gym. VERY loud. When I got home I got under the car to look.

No fluids or anything, but I don't recall the circled portion looking this way.

It looks like the black part of the IRS subframe is hitting the rear diff bolt. Can someone please check theirs?? Maybe even take some pics?

Something is wrong. My rear diff was leaking and was fixed at the dealer less than two weeks ago.

I just jacked the car up and looked up in there. There is no way in hell it is back together properly.

I can't wait to see your pics....

I'm gonna have to have it towed to the dealer. I'm afraid to drive it. I can't believe the IRS hasn't fallen out.

Yes that's exactly what I thought. Mine is jacked.

See how yours is flush and bolted.

Sly, we had our Cobra in the shop for the leak in the differential. They fixed the leak, but we had a horrible clunk when shifting. Took it in last week to fix it and they said a bearing was out. They mailed my worksheet to me (and I haven't gotten it yet) with the details. The clunk is gone now though. Will post again when I know the particulars.

Remember, mine was taken apart by the dealer when they fixed my leaky diff. Although it won't hurt to check yours.
