Need your opinion here on GMC F/I

Here is the deal. I was a big fan of the original Typhoon from GMC, in the early 90s. Now I am thinking of building a Typhoon inspired, family hauler for the wife. To do that I want to take a 2002/03 GMC Yukon (non-XL) and lower it (Belltech) and using forced induction. On the 5.3 motor, I have a few options. However, I am down between STS Turbo and a Whipple charger for it. What would you suggest? The original Typhoons were a turbo vehicle. Is there something else I should be looking at?

The original typhoon was also full time 4 wheel drive and built on the s15 chassis not the full size as the yukon. Try a 4wheel drive envoy they are nice and not near as big and heavy. As far as forced inducion , see what kits are available possible a wipple or even Kenne Bell, KB did a lot of work with the Syclones and typoons.
