Needing some new rubber

So Im looking at some new tires soon for my 07 GT and need some help/suggestions. I have almost gone through my Nitto 555s and I think i want something just SLIGHTLY harder/better in rain. Now that I daily drive the car, im not sure there I really need the nittos. Is there anything as cheap as nittos that can last a little longer? I think i paid $120 for my Nitto 555s.

Right now I am running 255/50/17s. ....guess I left out that minor detail lol.

There are not many tire models to choose from in the 255/50-17 size that are going to give you what you are looking for out of your next set of tires.

Are you still running your OEM wheels? If so, I would consider going back to the OEM tire size, 235/55-17. There are a lot more choices to pick from.

Based on what you are looking for, assuming you can drop down to the 235/55-17 size, I would take a close look at the Goodyear Eagle GT. Here's the link with more details.

The 245/45-17 tire size is going to be too short. Compared to the OEM 235/55-17 size, the 245/45-17 is 1 1/2" shorter in diameter.
