I didn't see a thread on this but I started watching it last night and its well done for sure. I used to be a big F1 fan, but it's gotten stale IMO over the last years and I sincerely hope it get's back to its glory days.. So far this has given a great glimpse into what's going on behind the scenes.

I'm way more of a MotoGP guy but still love me some F1. I would love for Netflix to do a season of MotoGP.

Anyway, has anyone been watching it?

I just found this the other day, pretty good. The on track / car mounted camera views are intense.

Very good. I almost binged watched the whole thing yesterday. Good combination of just enough drama and then brings you back to why you started watching it to begin with, the racing.

Watched the first episode. Kinda drama heavy for me.

I'll probably get around to the rest eventually. I like watching Ricciardo interview, dude is hilarious.

Its on my list to start this week. Not a huge f1 fan, but love racing and the behind the scenes stuff. Just finished season 3 of last kingdom, awesome.

I’ll have to check it out. Never was huge into F1, but I’d still watch. I prefer moto GP but that’s been stale in years past. Moto America is usually more enjoyable

    MotoGP stale???

I attend quite a few MotoAmerica races myself. I have a few friends that race SBK and Supersport .

I'm halfway thru on the F1 doc. I still can't believe Riccardo went with Renault but Christian Hornor seems like a dick...

The doc is worth a watch for sure .I hope Haas can get it together this year.

Renault has been a very heavy hitter in the past in F1. The cars are supposed to be very different in 2021, so maybe Renault is planning a large investment to get them back to where they have been years ago.

On episode 7. Seemed to have some refreshed footage from the documentary featuring McLaren, Grand Prix Driver. Funny twist on McLaren dumping Honda for Renault, and Red Bull dumping Renault for Honda.

I didn’t watch any of last season so maybe it was better but yes in years past it’s been stale to say the least. Not saying I don’t still enjoy it but I don’t stress missing it.

The engine suppliers need at least 3 teams to make engine development worth their while.
RB was having reliability issues with Renault. Same with McLaren and Honda . They were both fed up and switched
I believe there was some back room politics for RB to pick up Honda as I think Mclaren was the first to switch.

Started watching it today and it's very good. Never really got into Formula One but it's a good show nonetheless.

Very aware of the issues surrounding the situation, just thought it was ironic that both teams were having the same issue, and sought to correct the issue by going to someone who is also being left for the same reason. Another significant issue was Renault not allowing RB to have any input, and issue Mclaren may not be experiencing. Yes, there was an entire season between the switches, with McLaren leaving first.

We’re F1 fans, and have been to some races starting in 2006. Started watching this show today. It’s got very good cinematography, and uses pretty focused storylines for the episodes. Love the in car POVs. Nothing like designing, developing, building, testing, racing and maturing a new car every year, which = cubic dollars. And then there’s the sponsors and politics.
