Been working on a brake setup for my fox with 94-04 spindles and 13” cobra rotors. Calipers are 2015 Cadillac ATS brembos. They are mounted straight to the spindle using some custom machined bushings and a small shim behind the rotor. Here are some pictures.

But cheaper, doesn’t require different offset wheels, and can use 17” wheels. These calipers are only $118 each.

I don’t have quoting yet but based off my prototypes I’m thinking all parts will come in under $200

Just a thought.....might want to use a different material than aluminum for your rotor spacer.

If driven hard, heat transfer from the rotor to the spacer could heat it up enough to soften the metal, thus turning it into essentially a "crush collar".....if that happens your wheel will become loose and bad things to follow

    Did this ever progress?
Did you use a spacer behind the rotor as mentioned above my post?

I've got the brakes statically fitted and all is well. Yes a shim behind the rotor is required and although the rush washer theory you have has a fairly low probability of occurance I plan to have these quote in sheet steel for anyone who is concerned.

I have a list of people who have shown interest and I have a couple people putting quotes together for a batch of these.

Is there a reason you have to space the rotor out, rather than adapt the bracket to fit the existing rotor placement?

Yes take a look at the pictures and you'll notice that no bracket is used. The caliper mounting face and the spindle mounting face bolt together like a factory application. If no spacer is used the rotor will not be centered in the caliper or the spindle or caliper would require machining which would reduce their strength and increase complexity and cost of this.

If I buy this kit, all I need is to have .075 or there about removed from the ear of the caliper? I think I'd prefer that over the spacers.

Correct not running the spacers would require that material to be removed from the mounting face of the calipers

so with this complete install kit, I would just need the ats brembos, pads, and ss lines?

Are you still using aluminum or dod you go to steel for the shims and threads?

i like this instead of machining amd drilling out my spindles. im down for a kit pm me and leta make this happen if you jave some kits ready
