New and improved with 410's

I've read all the threads, and finally decided to go with 410's. All I have to say is I should have listened to everyones advise a long time ago. WOW it has changed the whole personality of the car. So much more fun to drive.

4:10's are a great gear I never regretted doing mine but curiosity is making me want to put a set of 4:30's in.

Dumb question but is there a speedo gear to correct the speedometer with 4.10's like there is with 3.73's?

YES. but my gear guy says thats it, they dont make them for past 410's. after that its a speedcal.

I've only seen them for 3.73's and 4.10's. Speedcal is great... A Tune is even better :banana:

A tune won't work on 97 and older Cobras for speedo issues.

The speedo gear recommended for 3.73 and 4.10s is the same 23 tooth white gear so it will get close but not dead on.

you can, but only via speedcal.

and yes, tunes will NOT help the 98 and older stangs for gear swaps.....
