Hey guys, I'm getting excited to do my install over the winter and I'd like to see what others are running. I've done threads a LONG time ago but I figure more and more people have installed systems since then.
I am installing my 12W7 with my 1000/1v2 this winter in a 2ft^3 box tuned to about 35hz. I ran my Alpine Type-s 10's in 1.8ft3 at 38hz all summer off of my Hifonics bxi1610 and they POUNDED, but I will be doing an install with the JL stuff that I won't have to keep taking out for track trips and stuff. I will be installing the JL equipment and leaving it, which will allow me to get creative with plexiglass and lighting. I will also be putting in some dynamat, as rattles can ruin ANY system.
I'd like to see what people are doing for alternator/battery solutions. I'm not going to be running a TON of power but those JL amps are THIRSTY!!!
