Finally got to test out the nitto drags.

Worked OK...wouldnt hook if I tried to launch but was able to roll into the throttle and cut a 1.78 60 foot.

fastest run was 11.70 at 121 mph...

not bad for a stock 04 PI motor and a vortech kit

60 1.775
1/8 7.507
mph 93.09
1/4 11.708
mph 121.09

get a better tire and you'll get a better time lol.

you have to remember the 60' is the most important part of your entire pass

yea, its pretty sick! Wish i had some blower cams to rev it higher

You would be better off getting more boost by changing pulleys than revving more rpm. By better off I mean less likely to break stuff. I am running 6.87, 2.95 10 rib pulleys on mine. I have a stock shortblock with some GT40X heads. My car is totaly set-up for road racing with a torque arm etc... I was hoping to run an 8 flat or so. I was shocked when I pulled a 1.53 60ft 7.40's @ 96mph. Vortech got it right with the Si.

my best that night was 12.3 at 120 with a 2.0 60ft, i was just trying to get more seat time try to figure out my n2b box and shift point but the car was hot the hole night never really cooled down, you got a real nice mph you should be able to shave a couple more tenths off your time

What is your setup bro?

It sounded liek you were granny shifting pretty bad...figured you were making a good bit of power to still trap 120 lol
