I went to the track Sunday with a few friends and got to run my truck for the first time on my race tune. My motor was built by Arthur Todd at AVT Performance and has a KB 2.3 running 18lbs of boost on my race tune. The heads were done by JL and Arthur degreed in a set of Comp Stage 2's. I am happy with everything so far and have had to learn to drive a "new truck". I now know what Ronnie has been smiling about and what GKCrewchief is to go through.
I have attached some videos of the passes. I only made 3 passes the whole night. The track was not working well at all, as there were several times it seemed like a Nascar race at Darlington, with many close encounters with the wall. The 1st pass was a traction challenged 7.57 @ 100.5, the 2nd a [email protected] (Rolling into the throttle), and the 3rd a [email protected]. I was on Bogarts with M/T ET Street Drag Radials.

Links should work now. The website hosting has had problems this morning.

Sorry, I am working on the links. They should be fixed in a few minutes. The 6.95 pass had a 1.59 60', and the 6.91 pass had a 1.54 60'. The first pass a smoking 1.87 60' :rollseyes.

Links look like they are working now. Nice runs.

Larry,

Don't forget to add that the truck is still heavy. Only things removed are sway bar and spare tire, and your a solid 225 lbs.

Pulley combo is a 10lb lower, 3.0" upper for the race tune. Boost is 18lbs, and verified by different boost guage.

The Chevelle is a faster car, but he apparently spun badly leaving the line and made me look better.

I appreciate the compliments.
