Kudos to the service team at Colonial Ford in Danbury, CT. Just got my car back after they agreed to replace BOTH heads with the 3rd gen ones. Mind you, this is after they replaced the left head last year. I had a barely audible tick that would seem to come and go, and it was tempting to just leave it alone. Well, I haven't more than 30 miles on the car so far, but my engine is SO much quieter than before - I mean, it is practically stealth. Idles smoother, runs strong. I'm going to take it easy on her for awhile, just superstition, but I think I'll let things settle in for a bit.
For toppers, they DETAILED the whole car when the job was done. No charges. This dealership has been super responsive to me, and I didn't even buy the car there. Rick at the service desk is a great guy to work with, and their SVT techs really seem to know what they're doing.
Warranty is up this October, and I'm ready for some mild mods.
