Just installed a circle D 2800 stall.

Truck runs great!!! (don't know how people don't like to DD with a big stall...)

I have a few questions though.

The truck now vibrates a lot when in park and idling, but it goes away when in drive and idling. Nothing else has changed, and the tune hasn't been updated yet.

Second, I have noticed the tranny temps are a bit higher already, even with amsoil ATF full synthetic.
Has anyone just disconnected the tranny heater (running through the rad) and left the stock cooler in place? Did this help keep the temps within a good range or did this keep them too low??

Thanks,
Sean

See your other thread about the vibration. The tranny is running hotter because the torque converter is slipping more. The trans has an internal thermostat. The heater in the rad helps bring the fluid to its proper operating temp quicker. You should leave it alone. If anything just add a larger trans cooler, like the one found on an F-250.
