New Ford flash plus new KB chip = +4mpg!!

I must say I was already impressed with what SSM 17542 did to the car. Easy start, nice idle, no stalls, no sometimes cold weather warmups hiccups. But previously on long trips between Waco and Dallas I'd average high 18's mpg, which is good for the power the car is making. Made my first road trip today with the new stuff and this time averaged 22.7 mpg on that tank of gas. I was surprised and pleased (of course it didn't please me enough to get over that damn ticket I got also 80 in a 55).

Pardon my ignorance. What do we do if we have a chip? We have to get it reburned? Removed before we go to dealer?

Same question here-I have a 2004 with an Apten SCT Tune.
I have sent an email to Brian to ask him if the stall fix is in his
tune or does it overwrite it. If your tune overwrites the fix
whats the point in getting it as you need the tune with mods.
I understand that my 2004 AMZ1 stock program MAY include
the fix but unsure as I did have an unexpected stall recently.

Well, the chip has to come out for the reflash, and then you will probably have to have your chip reburned with newer logic. KB didn't have the new Ford reflash logic so I actually had to send them my processor so they could get the new code. Then they had to reburn a new chip with new code.
