New H pipe?

Alright guys, I currently have a upr o/r x and don't like the sound that well. I called a local muffler shop about making an H pipe and they said they could do it for around $100. Think I should allow them to do it, or should I just fork over the dough for an aftermarket one?

Haha, you should definitely fork the money over for an aftermarket one. If you can swing it the MRT H is the nicest.

If your local shop does it, you're only getting aluminized tubing, that may/may not have a coated seem. They also won't use a high nickel rod, so your weld joints are going to rust overnight. The fit will only be as good as the fabricator.

If you are happy with that, alright. But you won't be disappointed in the stainless MRT.
