i would search but they search thing isnt working right now, but i went to get my alarm put on today and they said they cant do the remote start without 2 keys :bash: so mu question is does anyone know how much the chip is to make a new key and how long does it take to make it??

It usually costs about $60 to have a new key made, or that is what most people tell me that come to our shop w/ this problem. If they are a good shop they should be able to bypass the PATS system and give you both keys back. If they are not skilled they will use a cheater module and you will loose your second key, because it has to be left inside the module. It is stupid to use the module that requires a key be left in the vehicle, but some installers just arn't as skilled as the rest.
