New Koni shocks

I was at my dealer this week and my mechanic told me that Koni just released a new shock that's supposed to do amazing things in mitigating wheel hop (moreso than their old top-of-the-liners) - anyone know if this is true, and what the model and estimated cost is?

I would be very leary about somebody selling you a shock to fix wheel hop. The problem is due to several issues including low dampening shocks. A combination of IRS assembly bushings, 14mm bolts, and aluminum pinion bushings the higher dampening shock would probably be benificial. Personnally I run Bilstein 00R spec shocks, but depending on the dampening and rebound the Koni's might be better.
