I just installed my 4.10's and shifter today. Man does it shift
nice, finally the 2-3 shift is great.
The gears are great around town,:burnout: , haven't been
on the interstate yet though.
The wrong LT's showed up friday, GT's not Cobra's:cuss: :cuss:

Q: Did you take off the "dog-bone" mount off the rearend underneith the pumpkin then? It's no longer doing anything, it's dead weight.

It seems to still have good freeway manners. Still need to try 6800 in 5th yet.

I've been talking with a guy that has an '01 and trying to convince him he NEEDS an aftermarket shifter in it and he'll wonder why he waited that long to do it!

I could tell the difference when I picked my car back up from the guy who put them in and it was amazing. Not to mention my car is quite possibly the loudest thing on the street around here (only when I stand on it).

I wish I'd done the shifter a long time ago, it's so much better and it is alot better for the life of the transmission.

I called Jeg's, they had them in stock. So I called Brother's back and canceled my order, B.O.ed for 4 weeks. Should now be here in about 3 or 4 days:thumbsup:
