New noise

I took the car to the dealership to try and get the head fixed.

The car always seemed to make a clinking noise when you were just starting out. Like if you are stopped in gear and just let the clutch out enough to grab. It make a pretty loud clunk like there is a bunch of slack that is being taken up.

My warranty runs out in a few months so I want things to be taken care of now. Is this normal? Will it hurt anything?

Yes that is normal "driveline clunk". Mine does the same thing, pretty F-in annoying isnt it. It's caused by all the clearances in the driveline ( trans gears, axle gears, halfshafts etc etc). All this adds up to an annoying clunk that wont go away. But it shouldnt get any worse either.
