the change(s) made for last night's runs:
- removed passenger seat and rear seat back/bottom
- short accessory belt, bypassing the power steering pump
- insulating wrap on the cold air intake where it passes over the upper radiator hose to keep temps more consistent.
3490 lbs race weight with driver, helmet, 1/8 tank of gas, gutted trunk, pass seat and rear seat back/bottom removed (3265 lbs w/o driver and helmet)
pb 60 = 1.611; 1/8 = 7.819; 1/4 = 12.339 DA was between +99 ft and -299 ft throughout my runs per drag times calculator
Spun bad on the third pass after following several street cars that drove through the water box :mj:
I missed 2nd gear on the last pass, it may have bested my 12.339... There's still some tweaking to do with tire pressure and shock/strut settings. I may have a high 1.5x 60' left in the car, and maybe 12.2x ET by years end.
