I'm in the left lane.

I launched at 3500 rpms and let it eat. I'm on stock suspension with no irs brace running a 26x11.50 ET Street,

Car made 502/500 back in April.

I'd like to bring the rpms up a little more, just afraid to launch any harder on the halfshafts.

Don't be scared if you're on Them ET streets

My blue car went 1.66-1.70 4000 launched 35-40 times

Yeah, the ET STreets like RPM with the 03/04 Cobras and IRS.

What size tire did you run your 10.88 on? Also, did you have an IRS brace or 26 spline input shaft?

My suspension is bone stock. I don't have a brace and as far as I know it's still the stock shaft. It has an aftermarket clutch, but I'm not sure what brand.

Thanks!

I broke into the 10's for the first time with a 10.99 at 130.39 MPH at Mason Dixon Dragway while running 26" x 11.50 ET Streets. Was running 11 lbs of air, launched at 5,000 RPM, and hit a 1.637 60' time. Was running an IRS brace with the stock clutch and 10 spline input shaft.

Eventually went with a new clutch and 26 spline shaft, along with 28" Hoosiers slicks and hit a 10.89, a 10.97, and a 10.88 all within 46 minutes at the first Terminator Shootout at MIR. The car had much more in it, but I'm an average driver at best.

Hear you about the stock clutch and 10 spline, but pure drag slicks are certainly your friend here as they absorb a ton of the hit from the initial launch and shifting.

Is it just me or isn't that MPH a little low? A ported upper/lower car should be well over 120. What was the DA the night of the pass? If your looking for hook get a 28x10.5x15 stiff wall slick and launch at 5-6k.

It was 58 degrees Saturday night. First cool night since I bought the car. It trapped 122 on street tires, but on the radials I trap between 117-119.

A 58* night and a track that is pretty close to sea level, that mph is really off. I think you should be trapping at least 5 mph higher reguardless of your tire honestly. Dont mean to alarm you or anything but the numbers just dont add up to a 500rwhp car, are you driving it hard at the track or just learning the ropes?

I'm driving it hard. Shifting around 5800-6k. I'm at 5500rpms in 4th gear when I cross the finish line. I'm banging the gears at my shift points too. It's the stock 3.55 gears with the 26" tires. As far as I know the trans is stock too, other than a clutch.

Shift it at 6100-6300, thats where mine mph the best.

Do you have a larger intercooler reservoir you could pack with ice? Hard spun Eatons love the ice! I would gain at least 2 mph with a good ice down compared to just running ambient temp fluid.

No, I'm just running the stock tank. Guess that will be my next investment. I'm running the same tire. Guess I'll get my brace installed and order a larger IC tank. Gonna run on the terminator/gt500 shoot out at nmra in a couple weeks.
